Insurance Claims Only Through the Application, Like What?


The Covid-19 pandemic has also influenced people's perspectives as well as public awareness of the importance of self-protection.

Individual insurance customers can use eServices capabilities through the FWD MAX application to take advantage of advantages including accessing policy information, paying premiums, tracking investment returns, modifying or updating personal data, and submitting or checking claim status. The Google Play Store and Apple App Store both provide downloads for FWD MAX.

For individual customers, submitting claim benefits through FWD MAX can be done by:

1. Select the “eService” feature, “My Claims”, then “Submit New Claim”

2. Write/Select the Name of the Police owner

3. Select Claim type

4. Select the type of benefit you want to claim

5. Select yes/no Surgery action

6. Fill in the claim details, namely policy number, partner hospital, doctor on duty, payment bank information

7. Upload supporting documents according to the document type

8. Check the claim summary! If it is appropriate, click "Proceed"

If all documents have been received in full, FWD Insurance will process customer claims within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) working days. Apart from using FWD MAX, customers can also contact customer service via Whatsapp (+62) 8551500525.

For group insurance customers, FWD Insurance certainly also provides convenience and flexibility in processing claims. Customers of this service can process through the e-Friend feature in the FWD MAX application with the following steps:

1. Select the "e-Friend" menu

2. Select the “Reimburse Claim” feature

3. Isi “Claim Date Visit & Claim Date Discharge”

4. Complete data in the form of Name, “Benefit Type”, “Hospital/Clinic Reimbursement”, Amount

nominal claim and “Doctor Name”, then click “Next”.

5. Photo of the original receipt using the camera directly, before taking the photo write: "Already claimed

to FWD on the dd/mm/yyyy” date using the pen over the receipt,

then select "I agree" and click "Next".

6. Upload all medical documents and adjust them to the mandatory benefit documents

to be claimed.

7. Click "Next"

8. Medical documents that have been uploaded will appear as a list, if they are complete and

as appropriate click "OK".

9. Bank account details for payment have been automatically filled in according to what has been done

registered.

10. If it is correct, click "Submit Reimbursement Claim".

11. E-claims have been successfully submitted. Or click "Claim Tracking" to find out where the E-Claims status has reached.

After completing the steps above, the customer can check the current status of the claim process submitted by:

1. Klik “Notification”

2. Click "My Claims" to find out the latest status of submitting a claim.
