Insurance Businesses Work with BUMN Banks to Speed Up Claims
To make PRUSpeed Claim services available to more Indonesians, PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) and PT Bank Mandiri Persero Tbk (Bank Mandiri) are collaborating. Customers can use this service to expedite the claim settlement process at two hospitals that are partners with Prudential Indonesia and Bank Mandiri, namely Mitra Keluarga Kelapa Gading Hospital and Mitra Keluarga Kemayoran.
In order to increase the number of customers who can take use of PRUSpeed Claim, Prudential Indonesia's Chief Operations & Health, Dian Budiani, is hopeful that the company may expand the range of services it offers through a relationship with Bank Mandiri, one of the biggest banks in Indonesia.
"Holding a credit card limit via the EDC machine from Bank Mandiri enables consumers to process the process of returning from the hospital faster. The customer can leave the hospital and recover at home while the hospital assists with the full administrative process (including the process of repaying the credit card's limit after the claim is authorized), according to a statement received in Jakarta on Sunday, September 4.
Through PRU Medical Network (PMN), a web-based non-cash claim guarantee service directly managed by Prudential Indonesia, the PRUSpeed Claim service streamlines the process of collecting supporting documents, administrative procedures, and sending documents directly to hospitals for customers. The credit card limit will be momentarily held using the Bank Mandiri EDC machine's Pre Authorization feature, allowing consumers to leave more quickly without having to wait for Prudential Indonesia to calculate the claim settlement.
